The Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) is an all-volunteer group organized (under IRC 501(c)(3)) to raise funds for existing shelters and animal rescue services in Virginia that receive no governmental support and that are essentially responsible for their own fundraising. ARF recognizes that fundraising that distracts from their primary mission of caring for animals in need. The Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) is an all-volunteer group organized (under IRC 501(c)(3)) to raise funds for existing shelters and animal rescue services in Virginia that receive no governmental support and that are essentially responsible for their own fundraising. ARF recognizes that fundraising that distracts from their primary mission of caring for animals in need. ARF seeks to independently raise funds through events and direct contributions to then distribute to eligible animal organizations that have applied to ARF as a source of full or partial funding of specific programs or needs.
