I will always be grateful for Ty and her staff. She made an incredibly difficult time in my life so much easier. When my mother died I was faced with a house FULL of a lifetime of belongings. Ty and her amazing staff went through every single thing in the house and got it ready for a sale. When the neighborhood HOA presented her with difficulties she found a work around and was still able to clean out the house. She even offered to drive a car to California for me! I was left with a completely empty and spotless house ready to sell. She is incredibly compassionate and was ever mindful of the emotional upheaval I was going through. She is an angel! I cannot recommend her services enough! You will be in great hands!

My husband--Roger and I love these people. They are always open to our suggestions as how to display or sale an item. They have been more than adequate in the areas of professionalism and personality. They are open to suggestions for a different price to give the customer a real bargain. The staff are really sweet ladies and gentlemen, who try their best to accomadate each and every client as much as possible. I've seen them have to work in stiffling heat, rain, and cold. Some of us, myself included probably would not and/or could not work in those conditions. They have even had sales that the weather was hot, the home would be jammed up with merchandise, and so many customers you could not even think. To an undedicated staff, this would not be a good set of circumstances. I commend them also for catching the brunt of a potential customers' rude/crude outburst and handle it with as much dignity as possible. Having worked in public for 35+ years, this is not always an easy thing to do.
I have seen the staff clean, clean, clean. Some of the cleaning would seem to be a bit much, but they get it done.
I would recommend the company to anyone as a seller or buyer. You will not be disappointed in the efforts that will be made to make you feel comfortable. Their customer satisfaction is at the top of the list for each and every one.
Even if you don't make one of the "home" sales, go buy the store. You will find the same kindness and customer service.

Ty & Scott, I wanted both or you to know how much I appreciate your hard work. I started out trying to complete this process myself and found that I was getting nowhere slowly. With my husband's help we were blessed to find you. You jumped in with you army of staff and by the second or third day you could see the floor! Not once or twice I checked in and your staff always had smiles on their faces! And were so friendly and kind to my husband and I. If anyone is looking for this service they would be crazy not to use you! Thru all the rain you kept pushing along. The following of your customers that attend your sale speaks volumes. I would also like to thank anyone that attended or purchased from the sale.They need to know that they helped a elderly woman (my mom) in assisted living now! The "All About Estate Sales" team held a sale for my loved one several weeks ago, and I was extremely pleased. In my opinion, this is the only estate sale company in the Houston area! Like many families, our dear one had journeyed from independent living at home to needing the support provided by an assisted living facility. As many are aware, the cost of assisted living is staggering, so getting a good return on our loved one’s estate was crucial to being able to provide for that level of care. Thus, I did not take the decision of choosing an estate sale company lightly. I spent many months praying about and researching the ins and outs of estate sales with an emphasis on those in the Houston area. I developed a list of criteria and top on the list was selecting a company that was bonded and insured. I visited sales conducted by those who met this qualification and those who didn’t, but I never told any that I was a prospective client. I was looking for the perfect fit. When visiting as a customer, it doesn’t take long to get a good read on the attitude of those who are conducting the sale. Time after time, I saw owners who seemed to have lost their joy in helping others and appeared to have become burned out, approaching their sales only from a lucrative standpoint. Some seemed to put very little effort into the sale as evidenced by the lack of price tags on items; others were unpleasant and short-tempered with customers and staff alike; and finally, others posted so many rules and regulations that, as a customer, I was uncomfortable being in the house lest I accidentally violate a rule. I was looking for someone who obviously loved their work and viewed their profession as a calling. Honestly, I was beginning to lose hope. However, that changed the day my husband and I visited one of Ty’s sales. Oh my goodness! What a stark difference and breath of fresh air! As soon as we walked through the door and were greeted by Ty, I immediately knew that AAES was the company I had been searching for. Ty was so very warm and friendly, and that warmth, care, and compassion was genuine. Having to part with a loved one’s lifetime of material possessions is a painful and difficult process, and I knew I needed someone who was above reproach, trustworthy, honest, easy to work with, compassionate, understanding, patient, and caring, and she embodied every one of those characteristics. When we talked on the phone, my initial observations made at the sale were reconfirmed. I felt 100% comfortable with Ty, and I knew without a doubt that AAES was the perfect match. When we met with Ty and Scott for our consultation, I couldn’t have been more pleased. I didn’t know if they would be willing to take our sale because I had so many special requests. Yet, they had no reservation about accommodating each one. They were even willing to adjust their normal sale schedule and hours to honor our family’s wishes. My respect and appreciation for Ty and the team grew even deeper as they set-up, conducted, and cleaned out after the sale. Even though I wasn’t present, I was able to watch them at work through the pictures Ty was posting regularly on the estate sale websites. She did a superb job of presenting a precise, accurate, and appealing snapshot of the items available for sale. I was in awe of the extreme professionalism and care demonstrated throughout the set-up and staging process. It was totally amazing to watch the transformation and artistry involved. The entire team obviously cared about their work and gave their very best, going above and beyond in every way. Furthermore, the team had a true understanding and appreciation for the value of each item as reflected through their extensive experience and research. Some families may be reluctant to hire professionals to conduct their sale due to the commission rate, but I can tell you that the AAES team earned every penny. Moreover, because of their knowledge and expertise, their commission more than paid for itself. They were able to bring in a huge customer base and command top dollar for our items. Had we tried to conduct the sale ourselves, we would have lost the percentage of their commission in under-pricing alone, not to mention the emotional and physical strain associated with it all. We are so extremely grateful to Ty, Scott, Linda, Priscilla, Bertha, and Ryan for all their hard work and gentle, loving care of our family member’s lifelong collection of belongings. Their dedication, commitment, and service to those who are experiencing such a challenging life experience are unparalleled. Although our work together is complete, the impact they made on our lives will remain with us forever. To the AAES team: Please know that you are making a huge difference to each family you serve; bringing joy, comfort, and peace in the midst of difficult circumstances. May God continue to pour down His blessings on each of you! You are the best!!!

My mother moved into a 1BR suite in an independent living facility in Dallas from a furnished 4BR house in Copperfield. After she had given away a number of things to family and friends and furnished her new residence, the retail value of the remaining possessions she did not need at her new residence was about $3000 and her house sold during the first week it was listed. Scott and Ty worked with us to accommodate our situation and somewhat uncertain schedule by promptly meeting to discuss our options, offering a very fair lump sum buyout payment to my mother for the furnishings, and in 2 days emptied the house and garage and professionally cleaned the empty house and garage to be ready for the buyer's pre-closing walkthrough of the house - all while I was recovering from surgery in Dallas and unable to travel to Copperfield. Anyone needing to sell a small estate and house in the greater Houston area for an elderly parent (regardless of where you live), should definitely call All About Estate Sales to handle sale of the personal property and readying the house for closing.

Ty and Scott are true professionals who obviously enjoy what they do. And what they can accomplish in a week is truly mind-boggling and a godsend to families like ours. We were forced to move my mom into assisted living after she fell and broke a hip for the second time. Her home was full of "stuff"--she kept everything! I was having nightmares trying to decide how we (her five children, only one of whom lives in Kingwood) were going to deal with getting the house ready to sell. As soon as I met Ty for the first time, I felt at ease. At that time, we weren't really sure what furniture or other items we wanted to keep, as it was impossible for all of us to be in Kingwood at the same time. We talked to other estate sale companies, but Ty was the only one who understood the flexibility we needed and told us she would do the sale regardless of what was left to sell. She was completely true to her word, even when I offered to give her a bigger percentage than our contract called for because we had taken out more items than anticipated at the time we had signed the contract (an offer she refused, saying "Let's just see how the sale goes."). She and Scott did an awesome job with the sale and left the house in impeccable shape. They clearly went above and beyond the call of duty, which truly impressed me considering that their profit from our sale was probably much less than average. These two are completely trustworthy and are truly motivated by the satisfaction they get from providing families with a much-needed service. When we realized it was time for my mother to no longer live on her own we put her house up for sale. We were quite stunned and extremely unprepared when it sold in two days! I was becoming overwhelmed with the logistics of getting her moved out. And then I found Ty & Scott!! They came over the day after I contacted them, explained the scope of their work, took a quick initial inventory of what there was to sell & explained their fees. I was completely at ease with them & we immediately started to form a bond. They took care of every last detail, all I had to do was show up at the end of the sale to collect the proceeds. The house was spotless, Ty had even run the vacuum cleaner after everything was out. Not only did they load the few pieces of furniture my mother and I wanted to keep into my truck, they followed me to my house and helped me unload it.Ty and Scott are friendly, knowledgeable, caring and trustworthy..... They took a huge burden off my shoulders at a difficult time and I consider them Angels on earth.

We were thinking about downsizing and moving to the beach, but the thought of cleaning out and getting rid of 45 years worth of collections was beyond me. Ty and Scott to the rescue! They made the process SO easy! They did all the work AND gave us a nice check at the end. The house was empty of all debris. The cheerful, can-do attitude helped everything go very smoothly. Even though we lived in an area where estate sales are not allowed, they arranged a sale by appointment only, and still sold everything. Thanks so much!

When the idea of doing an estate sale on our own became overwhelming, we contacted Scott. It was a great decision. Scott delivers on all of his promises and goes above and beyond. From the initial contact to the successful estate sale and delivery of the check, Ty, Scott and the entire team far exceeded my expectations and were nothing short of awesome in every way! They were responsive, totally understanding and compassionate about my recent loss, patient in answering all my questions, prompt, professional, efficient, thorough and attended carefully to every last detail including notifying me immediately of cash and sentimental items I hadn't yet retrieved from my Mother's home. They left Mom's home spotless and ready for the new owner's move-in. I cannot thank them enough for their tireless efforts and inspiring can-do attitudes. This was my first experience with an estate sale, and did I is pick the right people! I was naturally concerned about how it would work. The more I spoke with Ty, the more confident I had became that this just be what would be the solution to emptying my house. We were down sizing and was worried I might be expecting too much. We were out of town for the sale and when we returned there was a check, a donation receipt, and a spotless house. I was surprised at all. All About Estate Sales, you are fabulous and I thank so much. What a joy this whole experience was for us.

Ty and Scott are two of the most wonderful ,caring ,compassionate people you will ever meet. They will take such good care of you and the selling of your personal items They're extremely respectful of you and your things, knowing that it is a difficult process to sell things that you have accumulated over a lifetime.
It can be very emotional and they help you through that process. They actually care about each individual, this is what makes them stand apart from the other estate sale companies!
Now if you think that you were going to get top dollar for all the items in your home that is not how an estate sale works...if you had the time to post and take care of selling each item on craigslist or eBay you would probably make more money, but most people who need to do an estate sale don't have the time nor the luxury Of taking months and months to sell everything they own. As long as you are aware of this ,you will be very pleased with the service that you get from " All about Estate Sales" !!!! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

The owners of All About Estate Sales, Ty and Scott, were a pleasure to work with. My father had to move out of his house to an assisted living apartment. He has lived in his house for over 9 years and 8 of those years he lived with my mother. My Mother passed away in October 2011.
Ty and Scott took complete charge in liquidating 60 years of my parents belongs. Ty and Scott went through everything in the house and gave ideas how to present all the furnishings to clean out the house. Ty and Scott gathered all the furnishings and displayed them in like groups and made it very easy for potential customers to show at the sale. Ty and Scott sold almost everything to help my father out. They settled with my father within two days at the end of the sale.
When the sales was over, Ty and Scott cleaned the house and when they walked out of the house, the house was ready for sale.
We were always in communications with each other and Ty communicated with me several times a day while the estate sale was going on.
Because of the distance between my location and my father's house, I did not worry about anything that was done during the estate sale. Ty and Scott took care of every detail, large or small. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to completely praise the work Ty and Scott did for me. I would strongly recommend these two to anyone who needs help with this type of service. Anyone who uses Ty and Scott will never be disappointed.

All About Estate Sales is fantastic!! We had been struggling with what to do with our parent's home after we moved them into assisted living a year ago - we would spend a day here, a day there trying to go thru 40 years of accumulation. Then we suddenly had a buyer for the house and had to get it emptied pdq! We took off a week, called for a dumpster and started the process - recognizing we needed to have a sale, we met with Scott and soon realized we should have called them 1st! Scott, Ty and crew came in and organized everything, cleaned the house (yes, cleaned the house!), held the sale, and dispersed the items that didn't sell. We were amazed at what they were able to sell and they left the house spotless - we did not have to do anything to turn it over to our home buyer! They are very sensitive to the family involved and very patient as tough decisions are made about items that hold memories, etc. Best of all, you can tell it's a labor of love for them and they are having a lot fun meeting people, learning about families and their history. Lastly, they quickly reconciled the sale and had a check to us within days. My advice is to use them, let them do it all! They make a very overwhelming process just go away! Thanks Scott and Ty!!
