When my mom died a friend suggested that I hold an estate sale. I thought I could do it on my own... after two days I KNEW that was not going to happen! I googled estate sale companies and I chose to first call A Belle Estate Sale because their website was much more professional than the others. I met with Jennifer and Mark and they gave me a booklet of information (which, I confess I did not read all of it) and sat down with me to discuss my particular situation. We then went through the house while they made notes. I did my due diligence and called another company to come out. I just was not impressed with the other company. They immediately went through the house to look at my mother's things and did not really take the time to explain what an estate sale is. I just got this cold feeling with the other company and I called Jennifer back that afternoon so we could schedule the estate sale. She was so comforting and reassuring about the process. She said she only takes on 2 estate sales per month and I could be scheduled for the next month, which fit in the with closing of the house. I was so nervous things would not fall into place but it did! Jennifer said that the owner is not present during the set up of the estate sale and at the sale, which at first seemed a little odd but I verified this was what other companies did as well. I did do a little spying and sent in a few of my friends to shop at the estate sale, especially the one that recommended I did an estate sale in the first place. MY GOODNESS, the line on the first morning was at least 40 yards long (kudos to your marketing Jennifer!!!). When I complimented her, she said it had a lot to do with what my mother collected as well. My friend who shopped the estate sale said that the check out lady (I do not know who it was) was so very nice to her and that the other lady (I am assuming this was Jennifer) was very helpful in pointing out the location of items and suggesting other things of possible interest. My friend said that there are several estate sale companies out there who are extremely rude to their shoppers... but she had a great time at my mom's estate sale. I feel like I have rambled here but I want to impress on you that this company made what seemed like such a stressful ordeal very simple and I want everyone to know that. Thank you, thank you, thank you Jennifer and Mark (and team). I will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs their service!
