This sale is going to be a little different than our others.  We are located in a duplex that was so full we had to expand it to include BOTH sides!  The volume of ladies clothing is so large we created a “boutique”.  Not only will you find clothing, but there is a large selection of shoes, hand bags, hats and other accessories.  Sizes range from 2X – 6X in clothing and 10 to 13 in ladies shoes.  Regardless of the type of function you are attending, we have all you will need to be on the best dressed list!  From picnics to Cotillions, it’s all here.  But what makes these items so special?  They are all high-end, designer clothing from makers such as Harris/Wallace, Kensington Square, Allison Wilson to name a few.  The shoes bear the designer names such as Thierry Rabotin, J. Renee, Annie and Valley Lane; the purses: Gucci, Cole-Haan, Dooney & Burke and Salvatore Feragamo.  The boutique setting allows the ladies to comfortably browse these garments and to see the excellent condition they are in.  Along with the boutique, the “right” side of the unit houses the holiday decorations and books.

The “left” side of the unit is filled with beautiful furniture from antique to new; the decorative items are incredible!  As you enter, you step down into the living room where you will find a wonderful floral print sofa, leather side chairs and some great antique pieces.  Decorative pillows are fascinating in their shapes and sizes.  Sculptures made from glass pieces are unique and would be a great item for any home.  Decorative crystal and glassware fill an antique curio cabinet; in another one you can find the collection of tea cups and saucers.  You will also find great floor and table lamps. 

The kitchen is so full it is hard to describe.  Great glassware, cookware and small appliances are everywhere.  Palm trees and flamingos are the theme here and there is a great selection.  Pink? I thought I heard someone say they were looking for anything PINK.  Well stop looking as we have it right here.  Anything you want in pink can be found here.  From dinnerware to carving knives to small appliances, we have it just for you!  Don’t overlook the mid-century table with rounded back he dining area is home to an antique sideboard/buffet.  There is also a drop-leaf table.  Both are filled with crystal stemware, perfume bottles and even a black lacquer box with an inlay design on top.  A most comfortable leather chair and matching ottoman sit in front of a tapestry and a beautiful floor lamp.  Here, too, you will find Depression glass items, an amber Lampe Berger and a set of Bavarian china by Hutschenreuther Selb.  The collection of mid-century ashtrays include pieces that are works of art.  Speaking of art, it is throughout the house and ranges from black and white photos to beautifully displayed antique fans under glass. 

The master bedroom has a 4-poster bed with matching dresser and chest.  The headboard is a “shutter” style.  In a dark mahogany, the “shutters” are also found on the corner of the dresser.  Check out the tiffany-style table lamp on one of the nightstands, what a great piece.

Outside you will find well maintained potted plants, lots of flamingos and a Chiminea to keep you warm outside.  Speaking of outside, the garage has lots of hidden “treasures” just waiting to be discovered.  For instance, there is  a Lifestyler A CT stationary bicycle, a really nice walker with wheels and a storage bench.   The square animal print lamp shade……no home should be without one of these!  It is sitting next to the box of door knobs.  You can just about find anything you need or something you just want!
