We are pleased to have been commissioned to sell the household furnishings and personal property of the late Clearance E. (Jesse) James, well known resident, educator, and musician here in Pleasants County. This estate contains so many nice large and small items that we have opted to sell part of it at this "Tag" sale on premises to reduce moving and the other portion at Auction in March (date and time to be announced). 

We are in the process of inventorying and pricing this sale. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE: All items to be purchased by cash or check with good I.D. No items to be sold prior to sale date. Items sold on "First come first served" basis. Those who come early will be given numbers as they arrive so they can wait in the car, go get coffee or whatever instead of standing in line particularly in light of questionable weather. Buyers will be admited to the sale in order of their numbers up to as many as the house will accomodate after which more will be admitted as others leave. This is usually in effect only during the first hour of the sale until people "thin out" at which time the numbers are dropped and buyers come and go as they wish. All items will be priced with tags or stickers. Portable items may be carried to cashier's table for purchase. Those purchasing large items should inform the cashiers as soon as possible to be recorded as "buyer". Attendants will then mark "sold" or remove the tags. Please do not remove tags or stickers. All items are sold "as is where is". "Bargaining" on items is at the sales agent's discretion. All items purchased need to be removed from the premises within 3 days of sale. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE: All items to be purchased by cash or check with good I.D. No items to be sold prior to sale date. Items sold on "First come first served" basis. Those who come early will be given numbers as they arrive so they can wait in the car, go get coffee or whatever instead of standing in line particularly in light of questionable weather. Buyers will be admited to the sale in order of their numbers up to as many as the house will accomodate after which more will be admitted as others leave. This is usually in effect only during the first hour of the sale until people "thin out" at which time the numbers are dropped and buyers come and go as they wish. All items will be priced with tags or stickers. Portable items may be carried to cashier's table for purchase. Those purchasing large items should inform the cashiers as soon as possible to be recorded as "buyer". Attendants will then mark "sold" or remove the tags. Please do not remove tags or stickers. All items are sold "as is where is". "Bargaining" on items is at the sales agent's discretion. All items purchased need to be removed from the premises within 3 days of sale. Announcements day of sale take precedence over previously published information.
