Listing Information

My sale this week is for the Betty and the late Howard "Lip" Lipstreu.
In 1942 Howard was a Fighter Pilot in the Marines and flew Corsairs in the South Pacific, where he earned the rank of Major.
Betty's grandparents, The Davidsons bought the Fulton Mansion and lived there from 1907-1943. Betty has written some great memories about her grandmother "Big Mama & PaPa" and the times she spent at the mansion. Betty's parents, Cy & Mary Grett, were married in the parlor there at the mansion. Her grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the mansion in 1940, as the Fulton's did in 1890.

Howard was Office Manager for Jitney Jungle and then worked for HEB til he retired in 1985.

Betty & Howard kept busy raising their 3 sons in this cute cottage style home, which will be up for sale soon. I will have the realtors info at the sale.

The Lipstreu's loved collecting antiques of all kinds, and we have quite a collection at the sale.

We have Pottery, China, Dishes, a Cast Iron Bank Collection, items from CCHS, Items from The Fulton Mansion, Paintings, Prints. Vintage toys, games, Fisher Price Toys (some I've never seen before), 48 Star Flag, Antique Music, Record Albums, Books & Magazines.  Also an Antique Safe and a Blue Angels autographed photo.

We have 2 awesome Hoosier Kitchen Cabinets/Cupboards. I will add a photo of the tall brown one tomorrow. I photographed the doors open to show you the rare grocery list that comes inside the doors of the cabinet. This cabinet is from Europe. The white Hoosier has the label and is Quaker Maid out of Richmond, Indiana.

We have a vintage green Hamilton Beach Shake/Malt Maker. Also a beautiful, white grate with lion heads from the NUECES HOTEL. There are 3 vintage meal trays from the Nueces County Jail. Antique quilts, vintage and newer clothing, shoes, handbags & Hats. Fur Wrap.

I also want to emphasize......WE HAVE A WHOLE ROOM Filled WITH an Elvis Presley Collection. It's massive! Really neat stuff!

We have Corpus Christi Books, Lamps, Tables & Chairs, Antique Scales, and MORE!

***The butcher block in the photo is NOT for sale***
***The Stove is***

We have an antique dough box, clocks, kitchen items and some really cool photos that were taken here in Corpus Christi of planes flying back in WWII.

The family has a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer with 58,800 miles for sale. $4500.
