This is a lovely estate sale for the family of a beautiful woman. She was a life long South Carolinian received her college degree from Converse College and was the editor of her college paper and was listed in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. At the beginning of WWII, she married her sweetheart a
Sergeant in the Army Air Corp just prior to his leaving for England. Long after the war was over, the family moved to Belgium where she was able to extend her love of the French language as she traveled throughout Belgium. The family took many excursions throughout Europe and included travel to Egypt and Greece. After their return to the States and building their new home in James Island, she lost her husband just two years after its completion. During the remainder of her life she enjoyed learning the history of Charleston, SC, involving herself in horticulture, enjoying the Spoleto Festival chamber music and studying English Literature up until her passing at the age of 94. POSH is humbled to assist the family with this awesome task.
