Our endeavors have taken us to the Preston Haven Estates in North Dallas. This home is filled with mid-century and vintage items. Bar carts, burnt orange side chairs, avocado green lounge chair with heat and massage features are just a sample of items found here. A vintage white wrought iron, glass top dining table sits in the kitchen along with its’ matching chairs. What a great piece! There is a really cool curved-front sofa and a glass top coffee table in the living room. Speaking of furniture, there is also a round top oak table with spindle back chairs, a ladder back rocker, mid-century burnt orange swivel chair with matching ottoman. There is bedroom furniture, side tables and small chests. We have fine porcelain from Fitz & Floyd, china by Easterling, Limoges and Nikko. There is crystal, pewter and silver plate serving pieces and various other items. Not to mention the barware! Most every shape, form and fashion can be found. And why not? There are a couple of bar carts and a portable dry bar. While checking out the barware be sure to see the Physician’s cabinets, circa 1930. We also have durable medical equipment. For those who love brass this is the place to be. More than just your candlesticks, you can find a tea cart, brass and glass nesting tables, coffee table, small wall-mount curio cabinet just to mention a few items. Oh, don’t miss the free-form sculptures and great hanging lamp! A great selection of ladies clothing awaits you along with a beautiful jewelry armoire. Be sure to see the Vera Bradley items we have. There are collections of many kinds: lighthouses, cats, puzzles, cats, vases, cats, angels…..did we mention cats? And Christmas/Holiday decorations! One room is filled with more than just Christmas decorations; all the other holidays are very well represented. Check out the fall and Thanksgiving items. Not so much a “collection” but there is a great selection of electronics! JVC, Toshiba, Kenwood; turntables, receivers, etc. There are also many, many books. A set of “A Library of Universal Literature” and a set of “How Things Work” are included. So many things to see. You need to stop by……5 minutes or 5 hours, we’d love to see ya!
