DETAILS

Estate Sale of Lynne Wakefield Gush, one of Houston’s leading piano teachers and her husband, a Vice Consul at the British Consulate.

She was a dynamic and flamboyant solo artist with a long teaching career and he was an MBE-awarded British Vice Consul.  Their home reflects the antiques she inherited from the Wooten side of her family, the British memorabilia they attained over the years, impressive Persian carpets in useful sizes and the mid-century modern furnishings that were of her taste.  The couple hosted stylish dinner parties for Prince Phillip and many British dignitaries in the home. She also played the harp and her SalviDaphnepedal harp with bench and music stand are in the sale.
