Join us on September 22 for a fabulous evening with live music, a hosted bar, cocktails by Curio at Harvest, delicious seasonal creations by Two Caterers, and desserts from Jeni's. Funds raised at Harvest Ball support programming that sets children up for a lifetime of healthy habits and provides adults with the knowledge and tools to feed their families healthfully and on a budget. Founded in 2008, this year Local Matters will impact over 11,000 children, adults and families, teaching them what healthy food is, where it comes from, how to grow it, and how to access it affordably. Today, through the work of dedicated staff and board members, Local Matters is a recognized leader and community collaborator, increasing critical healthful food education and food access to combat food insecurity and diet-related diseases particularly in low-income communities. Local Matters seventh annual signature fundraising event, Harvest Ball, is back this fall! Join us on September 22 for a fabulous evening with live music, a hosted bar, cocktails by Curio at Harvest, delicious seasonal creations by Two Caterers, and desserts from Jeni's.
