Combined estates of the late Betsy Weatherford and Dr. John Knapp. Both prominent Houston figures. Weatherford was a business woman, art patron, philanthropist.  Dr. Knapp was a cancer researcher, music lover and world traveler.

Contents of the Stablewood villa includes a black lacquered Bosendorfer concert grand piano, four bedroom suites of Baker and John Widdicomb furniture, a Baker Chippendale style dining table for twelve with twelve dining chairs, secretary bookcases, center table, pair of camelback sofas, wing chairs, Persian rugs and artworks.

 

The Weatherford Estate include Minton-Spidell, Art Deco, and Biedermeier pieces, scontemporary art, flatweave rugs, pottery, lighting, garden furniture and accessories and Estate jewelry.
