Listing Information

For this second and final day of the sale, we are offering a discount of 30 percent off most marked prices throughout the house. Prices on unmarked items will be negotiated at the front desk.

Circus runs thick in the blood of this downsizing couple. Both affiliated with the circus world during their working years, they remain avid circus fans and have decorated their home with circus memorabilia.

From authentic clown costumes and a clown's stainless steel road trunk (which still bears the original lettering from his Korean War service days), to posters, circus-themed plates and circus-themed Jim Beam decanters and more, there is a wide variety of circus items. We've found circus license plates, circus programs, and much more. Also in this vein is an extensive collection of Playbill magazines dating back to the 1950s.

The other star of the show is a collection of Alberto Vargas lithographs, printed in tiny limited editions from the artist's estate. We also have a few framed Vargas calendar pages and other less expensive Vargas items.

There are two cases of jewelry including several gold and silver pieces, with a great affection for all things elephant. In fact, elephants are a strong theme throughout the house.

Of course there is classic American furniture, for living room, family room, dining room, sunroom and a wide assortment of multi-purpose pieces. There are three sets of regular china and a set of Orrefors crystal. There is vintage clothing including several beautiful pieces of  formal wear.

We've discovered a cache of 1970s toys, games and puzzles including a Powerhouse Ferris Wheel kit, and a Model 4-1/2 Erector Set.

The garage has yielded such childhood treasures as baseball cards from the 60s through the 80s, and even a few comic books.

And while you're in town, call to reserve a parking spot or use our free shuttle from the Knights of Columbus parking lot at 7 Court House Pl.,  and check out our other sale, a five-minute drive away!
