Terms and Conditions of Sale
Winning Bidder is responsible for payment via: check, money order, paypal, or debit/credit card within 48 hours of sale end date and time. There will be a 13% buyer's premium expected to be paid by the high bidder. Sales tax will be attached to final payment for buyer unless Appalachian Auction Company is provided a personal Pennsylvania sales tax number. Checks and money orders are to be made payable to Appalachian Auction Company. Failure to pay may result in loss of bidding privileges on future sales with this company. Any returned checks will be charged a processing fee. Buyer must communicate the process of payment they choose. Arrangements for shipping must be coordinated by the buyer and Auction Company within a 48 hour period from the end time and date of auction. The high bidder is responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements of all items sold. We ship via USPS mail. Any oversized items, we recommend Navis Pack & Ship (888) 330-9211- POC: Steve Wells. In these circumstances, any shipping arrangements must be made and should be communicated to us within the 48 hours of the sale. Local delivery by auction company may be available on some items. Written descriptions of items are only our opinions and should in no way, shape, or form be assumed to be flawless or a guarantee. Prior to performing a bid we recommend our buyers to inspect each item or contact us to answer any questions. As a result of your bid, this means you, as a bidder, have thoroughly examined the item and are happy with what you see. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS". We do not give refunds of any sort for any of our sales. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. In order to reverse/adjust/ or cancel a bid communication must be made via telephone within 24 hours of sale end date. Bidders are required to register through our site and must use the bidding number assigned to them to perform their bidding activity. Appalachian Auction Company is in no way responsible for any bidding errors due to misprints or unknown information at the time. Appalachian Auction Company will not be held responsible for any mis-communication or error on the bidder's behalf.
