Listing Information

Take the Eutaw exit, 40, then Estate Sale signs will bring you straight in:)

It is my honor and priviledge to be assisting Greg & Michel Espey in the Estate Sale of several generations of their families heirlooms and treasures.  They are part of the list of families that have contributed to the rich history of this community including several generations of local bankers and the property is home of the former Middleton Egg Farm who supplied Green, Pickens and Tuscaloosa County with eggs.  I have enjoyed sitting around and hearing  stories about farming cotton, raising pigs and cows, raising chickens and hearing stories about Mr. Rich building dollies to put the egg crates on to roll into the cooler (we actually have several he made).  As we were transforming the old block egg building into the location of the estate sale, we came across a large wooden, what looked like a boat paddle, soup spoon.  Mr. Greg started telling about how his mother and grandmother use to cook hundreds of pounds of brunswick stew in big pots in the yard and stirring the stew with that stick. That's just sweet sweet memories.

So, grab  a cup of coffee and head to the country.  Who knows...if its cold outside we might just throw a log in that old cast iron wood burning stove and if we are lucky, Mr. Rich, who worked for Middleton Egg Farm for years, might be here to share some more of his memories.

Thank you in advance for supporting this family!
