Ms. Laura, lived a long and full life for 93 years.  She loved and cherished Mid Century Modern.  She developed a love for Japan, living there in 1960-62.   Her 3 bedroom, 2 bath home consist of many items that were shipped back from Japan, beautiful wall sized silk screens, 3 metal hibachi, oversized brass gong with piecrust edge (table top), Japanese statuary and figurines, ceramic bonsai pottery, art books and etc.   Most all of her furniture has the original receipts and documents kept some 60+ years on file. Her home was a smoke free and pet free enviroment. She fastidiously cared for every item.   There is a huge Elvis collection from books, figurines, and collectibles.   She owned a vast VHS tape collection of most Disney movies.   Many are new and still wrapped.  The kitchen is full of like new pots and pans, utensils,  a new never used Kitchen Aid mixer (Komens edition, pink), a complete service of periwinkle blue Fiesta Ware dishes,  1950s collectible glassware and barware.  A beautiful Pecan dining room set by Drexel from 1963-67 that consist of a large oval table with 3 leaves includes custom protection pads,  large credenza, china cabinet and matching TV console and matching stereo consoleMost of the furnture is black lacquer, the 1952 Janseen piano high gloss black lacquer trimmed in brass, black lacquer end tables trimmed in brass, oversized brass lamps, beautiful Mid Century Modern black lacquer sofa covered in gold silk with matching chair, a fantastic MCM black and white divan with built in end table, a MCM black lacquer bedroom suite, chest of drawers, dresser w/mirror and headboard.   Brass headboard, white and gold dresser and chest of drawers.  Great 1950s and 60s swag lamps, 2 wonderful MCM pole lamps, 1950s Kenmore sewing machine (works perfect) along with all of the usual household smalls.  Clothing, shoes, linens, and personal items.  A assortment of tools both for the garden and the garage.  Again I can not express how nice everything was kept and the fact that many items will have receipts of purchase.
