Austin residents MaryAnn and Andrew Heller, PhD have decided to liquidate one of their homes and have contracted HammerDown Auctions to help them. MaryAnn is a "Dame of Malta" and reports directly to the Pope. She also serves on the Texas Commission of the Arts. Andrew has worked in the technology industry since the early 60's. Dr. Heller spent many years in California. and was personal friends with Steve Jobs whom he first met at a computer home build group long before Apple got started. Steve and Andrew stayed in touch and Andrew even named his son after Steve! While at IBM, Dr. Heller created and ran the business unit that created the AIX (UNIX) operating system for IBM and the RISC RS/6000 family of workstations and servers, from which the current Watson was developed. Since his tech days, he has become a renown recording artist and singer of big band music...watch out Frank!
