The Owners have been married for over 46 years and, by design, had no children. Both were raised on farms in eastern NC and have several farm pieces from the 1800’s including dining sets, wash stands, chests of drawers and more. They became eclectic collectors of various art from around the world. Beginning with signed / numbered fine art prints by Carl Brenders, Robert Bateman, Seerey Lester and Wyland then moving to originals by Wyland, Art LeMay and Al Agnew, among others. The collection also includes signed prints by LeRoy Neiman as well as contemporary Cuban, Caribbean and Chinese artists. They have a commissioned large painting of Jimmy Buffett painted during the 15th Annual Gathering of the Phlock by George MILO Buck in Key West. A unique, one of a kind piece.
Other rare items for sale include Early 20th Century 4 – Panel Chinese Screens (2), early 20th century school desk and chair, 500-pound fire-proof combination safe as well as an Infinity 0-Gravity whole Body Massage Chair, American of Martinsville 2-Pier Bridged Dining Unit plus separate Server, Game Table (Pool, Air Hockey, Ping Pong) and far too many smaller items to list.
Gently worn women’s and men’s clothing includes names like Alfred Dunner and suits from Jos A Banks. There are also a wide selection of alpaca, cotton and wool sweaters.
A number of power tools including drills, impact drivers, circular saws, trimmers, hedge trimmers, chain saw, backpack leaf blower, vintage farm tools and more as well as saw horses and other outdoor items.
Avid Hobie Cat racers, there are two complete 16’ Hobie Cats with updated galvanized trailer (LEDs, Tires, etc.) and boat box containing 2 sets of matching number class sails, 1 set of wind sails, Infinity jib, beach tires and well over $500 in spare parts for the boats. A vintage Windsurfer with all attachments is available. Also, completing your water experience, a 17’ Coleman canoe with hardwood paddles is included in the sale.
A 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe 4 Wheel Drive with 75,000 miles is also available.
