We have a nice sale, on the lovely San Bernard River this week. The property is an oddly laid out configuration. Three property owners are close together, we’ll clearly mark the driveway you need to come in on. You’ll actually come under a covered bridge, to get to the sale. Be aware, the bridge has a clearance of about 8’6”, so if you drive a tall vehicle, you might want to just park on 506, and walk to the house. We’ll tape off the areas that belong to other properties. NOTHING in the outbuildings is for sale. Those buildings, and their contents, belong to someone else. If ya decide to go prowling, remember, that’s called trespassing, and I’m pretty sure the owners would be a bit irate. The sale address is 2442 County Road 506, outside of Brazoria. Going South from Brazoria, you’ll take FM 521, at the light near Diamond S. Towards the old McCoy’s Lumber Yard, towards Holiday Shores area. Go over the river bridge,(McNeil Bridge), 506 is the first right. We’ll have our signs out. 2442 is a couple of wiggly, winding miles down 506, on the right. If you shopped at our sale we did, at Roses and The River, this week’s sale is next door. Parking,(and turning around !), near the house will be very dicey. Leave your cranky pants at home, please. Do NOT block the driveways, nor the street.
The sign-up sheet will be out around 8:00 on Friday morning. We’ll begin calling names in around 8:45.
Remember, we take approved Brazoria County checks, cash, and credit cards. Financing is available, with Square approval. There is a $60 returned check fee, if you think that’s too high, write your bad checks somewhere else.
Children MUST stay with a parent, or handler, or you could be asked to leave. I’d prefer they not go upstairs. Also, if you aren’t able to safely climb stairs, then don’t. Pretty simple, eh ?
No strollers, large purses, back packs, etc., will be allowed in the sale areas.
Estate Liquidators does NOT provide loaders, haulers, nor pack mules. You need to make arrangements to have your large or bulky items moved. We can provide the name/number for a mover, if needed.
We do charge sales tax, folks. We’ve been looking at the probability that, as of January of 2020, we will charge sales tax on ALL purchases. There will be no need for resale certificates, because every customer will pay tax. My bookkeeper will be happy.
