Listing Information

Wiregrass Estate Sales is honored to have been chosen to liquidate the estate of Lewis and Eddie Hayes of Ozark.

Mr. Hayes worked for the Dale County Commission. He served a term as a Dale County Commisioner. He also farmed, worked at the lumberyard and enjoyed gardening and fishing. Mrs. Hayes was a homemaker, a seamtress and a home-canner who made the worlds best tea cakes and dumplings.

The Hayes' home has pieces of furniture that span several generations, from Victorian to country primitive. The Hayes' lived a simpler life, and their estate reflects that lifestyle, from a time where people grew and canned thier own food, sewed thier own clothing and made use of everything available. The estate also includes: sewing collectibles, lots of vintage fabric, vintage clothing, canning jars and supplies, kitchen items, double drainboard/double sink with original metal cabinets, artwork, and more. We are also selling the AWESOME wood interior doors, cabinets, and bricks. We will also be selling Mr. Haye's Ford 6010 tractor.

For those of you who like to paint furniture, don't miss this sale. There are quite a few pieces that are perfect!
