Sale of Most of the contents of the Home of Hudson and Elizabeth Chadwick located in Georgetown, MS. The Late Hudson Chadwick was a Mississippi artist for years while working in the Insurance Industry. The Chadwick Family moved to Natchez in the 1940's. Hudsons Mother began collecting antiques as many Natchez homes contents came up for sale. Hudsons Wife Elizabeth descends from such early Natchez families Bowie's, Rouths, and Rawle who married a Stanton. Mrs Chadwick is relocating out of state and is selling many things. The collection is like stepping Back into History.

CIRCUS: 1940’s Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey CIRCUS Collection to be sold in a lot. This collection belonged to Hartman Moritz who left Natchez in 1940 to “Join the Circus”. Consisting of at least 10 original Ringling Bros Barnum and Baily Circus Posters by artists ( Bill Bailey and others) There is a Large Photo album belonging to Walter Maclain an Elephant Trainer for the circus includes Loose photos from a fire disaster at Ringling Bros B & B Circus in Atlanta Georgia in 1944. The collection also includes correspondence. (NOTE The posters will only be handled by Serious Buyers) Reproductions of the posters on 8 x 11 photo paper will be available to look at.
