156 YEAR OLD JOHANNES HEINRICH RODE ESTATE IN DELPHOS

October 17, 18 & 19 (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

8am - 3pm

The Johannes Heinrich Rode Farmstead has been in existence since 1858. The first phase of the home is believed to have been built in the 1870's. It was then moved 50 yards to the East and a kitchen was added in 1925 by Henry and Rosa, once married. Another addition was added in 1950, with an upstairs bedroom and living room. Melvin and Marilyn, in 1996, added a garage, front porch and bedroom. This is still a working farm where alot of people have been born, lived and passed away within the very walls of this home. Up until 1945 the farm did not have modern ameities such as electricity and indoor plumbing.  

The entire home is packed full of antiques. You definitely don't want to miss this one!
