ESTATE AUCTION Friday, November 21st - 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22nd - 10:00 a.m. 1600 West Market Street - Bolivar, TN 38008 THE ESTATE OF JIMMY STEVENS Kennedy’s Auction Service is honored to have been chosen to conduct the estate auction of the late Jimmy Stevens of Bolivar, TN. Mr. Stevens was an interior designer, artist, architect and historian with unique designing talents. Since 1962, he owned and operated Barrett & Stevens in Bolivar, TN, where he specialized in antiques, fine furniture, and interior design. He was instrumental in organizing the Hardeman County Chapter of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities and was actively involved for the past 50 years in the restoration of many of the historic homes and buildings of West Tennessee. Jimmy was truly loved and respected by all who knew him. The auction will include the complete inventory of Barrett & Stevens and items from Jimmy's personal collection, as well as select art and antiques from the Charles Abels Estate, Jackson, TN. This two day auction promises to truly be a great auction, and one you will not want to miss. The auction will include such items as: A Rare Circa 1800 Three Piece Wheat Carved Parlor Suite Attributed to Duncan Phyfe of New York (Pictured Below) Mr. Stevens did extensive research on this suite and believed it to be a period example of Duncan Phyfe’s work; A Monumental, M. Landucci "The Gladiator" Oil on Canvas Painting, Circa 1850; several oil on canvas paintings by listed artists; Collection of Antique Silver; Collection of Antique Persian Rugs; Fine Furniture & Accessories by Hooker, Henredon, Craftique, Bevan Funnell, Sarreid, Louis J.
