These were on the show room floor of a prominent Rug Dealer. (The reason for that retailers Public Auction of 100's of these rugs is unknown and irrelevant to this opportunity.) This seller who attended that Public Auction in Clintonville, upon seeing the prices being hammered, bought many rugs to both use, give to his family, and have his friend Jim re-sell. This lot as I understand it, represents the final grouping. These are truly heirloom quality rugs that should last for generations. Forgive my being verbose.. These rugs were not made in foreign country because the labor was cheap. Not farmed out by a 'dollar store corporation' to offer the American Public a 'looks-just-like' replica of an expensive item. These were made in the only places on Earth where the natural materials have been harvested and used for more than 2000 years. By Licensure and National laws these materials, craftsmanship and techniques are protected. The same indigenous soil, vegetable/plants dyes and wool that have been used for centuries are used on these rugs. These have been made for modern homes, with modern designs, with comfort and stability for our homes in Reynoldsburg, Worthington, Grove City, Victorian Village and New Albany.
