Wiregrass Estate Sales is honored to have been chosen to liquidate the estate of Charles "Bill" and Evelyn Carroll of Ozark. The Carroll's were married for almost 70 years, and passed away within 2 weeks of each other. Bill was an WWII Army Infantry Vet, and was in the hardware business from 1946, opening his own store, Bill's Hardware until retirement. Evelyn worked with her husband at the store, in addition to being a great mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and garden, and was known for her pound cake and banana pudding! The large (4300 sq ft) home is full of very nice furnishings and accessories, including many midcentury items. There is also a basement and a storage garage full as well. |
