Listing Information

UPDATE: 4/21/15 - Getting close!  Just to clarify - This is a "regular estate sale" EXCEPT for the 4 vehicles which we will be accepting bids on up until noon on Saturday, April 25th.  You can place your bid at the sale by handing your bid sheet to a cashier OR you can also place your bid on our website.  Bids amounts (never names) will be posted on our website at 9 PM on Thursday and 9 PM on Friday so you can see how the prices are going. At noon on Saturday, we will contact the highest bidders on all 4 vehicles for best and final.  Those final bids will be presented to the estate executors for approval.

All other items will have a price on them and you can always make us a verbal offer or place a written offer in our offer box for anything.  At any point that we can accept your offer, we surely will.

UPDATE: 4/20/15 - Added to the sale by the family is a 2006 CBR600RR Honda.  New rear tire, new battery, alarm system, bike cover, Yoshi slip-on K&N Renthal 42 tooth sprocket, 22,756 miles.  Also have two new tires - a Dunlop Sportmax Q3 120/70-17 front tire - and a Dunlop 160/60-17 Sportmax Q3 rear tire ALSO - have an OEM Ignition switch and gas cap for the same make and model.

Taken by the family was the small Texaco Gas Pump that is shown to the right of the Polly Pump and a few other items as well.  Opinion is that the Polly Gas Pump is a reproduction - but a nice one with the added clock face and it lights up nicely.  Opinion is that the Gilmore pump is the real deal and nicely refurbished.  YOU DECIDE WHAT IS WHAT.  We are representing them as decorative items that look like gas pumps.

Info on the dirt bike: the bike is being sold without a title as it cannot be located by the family.  It is not running.

All 4 vehicles (cars) have titles ready to go.

UPDATE:4/18/15 - Estate Trustees decided today that all 4 vehicles will be sold in a bidding/offer format.  Bid forms will be available at the sale.  If you're interested, fill one out and hand it to the cashier.  High bids will be published on our website at 9 pm on Thursday and 9 pm Friday evening so you can check it yourself.  You will also be able to submit a bid on our website as well.  Around noon on Saturday, we will contact the highest bidders on all 4 vehicles for their best and final offer.  These offers will be presented to the estate trustees who will accept or reject the offers.

You can also place an offer on any priced item that you are interested in buying for a lesser price.  If the item is still available, we usually start notifying people on Saturday evening or Sunday if we can accept your offer.

UPDATE: Evening 4/16/15 - Today we uncovered more trains and more vintage car parts.  There are also some nice books about regional Arizona history, gold mining, cars of course, more railroad books, yearbooks, and lots of western themed reading material.  Arizona Highways by the "carload" - packaged in years $1.50/yr.

As I stated below, this sale will be run as 2 separate sales - 1. Yard and back garage building and 2. House and attached garage.  You can not go back and forth between the 2 (read more about that below).

So, here's a general idea of what is where:  In the house and attached 3 car garage you will find: The 1946 Dodge, hood ornaments, all railroad items, the 2 restored gas pumps, furniture, vintage tools, vintage gauges and fire extinguishers, books, furniture, musical instruments, vintage car horns, radios, cameras, steroscopes, cameras, western decor, turquoise (rough and jewelry) and the Chevelle engine and transmission.  In the yard and back 6 car garage building you will find:  Everything else!  The 1970 Chevelle, the 1973 Dodge Van, and the 1957 Chevy Pickup, Honda CR500R dirt bike, all the unrestored gas pumps, 7000# vehicle lift, tons (literally) of modern tools of every kind and tool boxes, Texaco and Chevron signs.  That will hopefully help you decide "which sale" you want to attend first.

UPDATE: Evening 4/15/15 - This is Day 2 of our setup.  I'm adding 100 more pictures tonight.  Some may be similar to others but we have organized and uncovered some new items you may notice.  There is a lot of railroad!  Trains, tracks, books, pictures, everything railroad you can name and tons of it.  We found a couple nice old sleds, lots of lanterns, irons, old wooden pulleys and tools of every kind - modern and antique.  Check out the new pictures - they should be at the top.

UPDATE: Evening 4/14/15 -   Due to so many items being outside and in the garages, we HAVE CHANGED THE HOURS OF THE SALE TO START AT 7AM INSTEAD OF 8AM TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE COOLER HOURS.  HOURS ARE NOW 7 - 1 ON THUR. AND FRI., 7 - 2 ON SAT. AND SUN.

*We are running check out stations in two separate areas to enable processing of customers through this sale.  PLEASE READ:  This is a walled property with a 3 car attached garage and a "six car garage/building" in the back.  We are handling this as two separate areas - as you cannot go from the yard/back garage to the house or house to the yard/back garage.

To enter the yard and the back garage building, go to the double gates and line up there.  You will be checked in and out through those gates and you will pay for your items in that area.  You must take your items to your car and then you can enter the house through the front door if you wish to shop in that area.  The same is true if you start shopping in the house (line up at front door) - check out in there and take your items to your car.

If you have already purchased something in one of the 2 areas, and if there is a line to get in, YOUR RECEIPT WILL GET YOU TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE.  Bring only your receipt, not the items you purchased.  Those should be in your car.  We don't expect you to have to wait in both lines.

Please be patient as there may be lines at times.  We have an obligation to the estate owners to control the flow of traffic and customers, as well as promoting safety and loss prevention measures.  We have put into place the dual check out areas described above to facilitate the flow, but if you're in a big hurry, you're going to be frustrated.   NO CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 12 WILL BE ADMITTED TO THE YARD/BACK GARAGE AREA DUE TO A POOL THAT CANNOT BE CLOSED OFF.

TITLES:  The family states that all 4 vehicles and the 86 Honda CB500R Motorcycle will have clear titles.  The executors are going through the process and I am told they will be ready for the sale.

Tomorrow night I will add additional updates and some additional pictures of items uncovered.

UPDATE: 4/14/15: We will begin setting up this sale today and hope to add more information in the next 24 hours.  Check back here as this is where we will post all updated information.  The family told us yesterday that the Chevy Truck is a 1957, not a 1956.  We can check that out today.

This one's for the boys! Allright, I know some of the ladies out there are car buffs but you're not going to find any china and crystal at this estate sale. Here's what you will find in this man cave and he collected some really cool things.
