He was a Fabric Designer for some of the finest houses in the World including "Scalamandre" and "Christian Dior". His impeccable taste along with his partner's artistic eye came together to create this "Oasis" in the country. Their exquisite decorating sense is exhibited in every room of this home. From the pieces that descended in the family to the pieces that were acquired on various trips around the world there seems to be something "special" about each of them.... the color, the form, the size, the medium...something is unique about each item. For those of you that are un-able to attend the auction in person Terri Peters and Associates offer the following options:

Option 1) TELEPHONE BIDDING - You tell us which lot(s) that you would like to bid on. We will tell you approximately when the item(s) will be sold. You give us the telephone number that we can reach you at when the item is going across the block. We will call you a few minutes before the item comes up and you can bid as if you were standing at the auction on Black Hollow Road in Remsen. You will hear the auctioneer and be prompted to bid, when it is your turn, by our representative.

Option 2) COMPETITIVE ABSENTEE BID - You tell us what you want to bid on and the maximum that you are willing to spend. We have a representative that sits in the audience and bids for you. This person is identified to the audience and will execute your bid competitively as the item is being sold. What that means is that our Representative acts as if she is spending her own money and trying to obtain the item for the least amount possible. You may leave a maximum bid of $100.00 and end up buying the item for much less. The absentee bids are kept strictly confidential between you and Terri Peters & Associates.

Option 3) ‘LIVE’ ON-LINE INTERNET BIDDING - This option may prove particularly appealing for those who would like to participate "First Hand" and do not want to be tethered to a telephone. With this option you will be able to watch the game...clean your house...baby-sit...work...go shopping...or relax in the comfort of your home or office. You will be able to bid as the auction is progressing...in real time...on whichever items that you choose! All you need is internet access and a device to interact on the internet...a PC, Laptop, I-Pad or I-Phone will work. Registering to bid only takes a moment. You will be able to follow along as the auction happening. You will see the item that is being auctioned.
