ANTIQUES/PRIMITIVES/COLLECTIBLES:  Circa 1930's non-electric refrigerator/icechest, Toledo scales, Enterprise double wheel coffee grinder, antique baby stroller, crockery, stoneware, cast iron cookery, lard cans, barn lanterns, beer & pop trays, hundreds of antique hand tools of all kinds. National trunk, Packard Auto Co. trunk, Samson trunk, and other trunks. Antique scales, cream cans, tractor toolboxes, small oil cans, store mannequins, spittoons, bedpans, antique ice skates, baskets, nail kegs, barn pulleys, coal buckets, cast iron ladies shoes (store display?), wood shoes. Wood boxes of all types, includes beer, milk, ammo boxes, and more.  Adrian High School Yearbooks (1899 to 1970's), old plat books, campaign pins, antique pictures,  local advertising memorabilia, marbles, pretty glassware, elephant collection, banks, small antique tins, Lipton Cup a Soup transistor radio, vintage & antique books, ephemera of all kinds, matchbooks, records, and much more to be added as discovered.  NOTE: The house is packed, and we will have thousands of small antiques and collectibles under a 30 by 60 ft. & 40 by 40 ft tent!  Expect surprises and unadvertised items! Impossible to see it all.  Items added daily!


Lyn's Note:  Don Mitchell was the Drain Commissioner for Lenawee County for 36 years and was well known in the community.  Don's passion was attending auctions and purchasing whatever caught his eye.  The quantity and variety is impressive!  The house, barn and several outbuildings are packed with anything and everything imaginable.  Plan on an all day, two ring auction. We expect to schedule more auctions before we are done!
