Listing Information

The homeowners had excellent taste, blending modern and more traditional furniture styles, displaying floral and nautical art side by side, and keeping interesting things.

The living room features a wall unit that dominates an entire wall but will be easy to move in three pieces. It features open shelving with cabinet doors below on the left, a double-door cabinet for a television with drawers below in the center, and glass-front doors over drawers on the right. These large TV cabinets can be repurposed for storage by adding interior shelves, or even turned into a mini-bar. This room also features several small tables and lamps. The white corduroy sofa and loveseat were added at the last minute.

Off to the side is a little office, in which you will find a modern glass-front cabinet full of books, an antique child's chair and many small decorative items including a pair of little storage chests.

We have an excellent dining room set featuring interior-lit china cabinet, a Rumaru china set for 12 in the "Crescent" floral pattern, and a dark-stained table with reeded legs and paw feet, two leaves, table pads, and six carved chairs with red striped upholstery. Inside the china cabinet are quality decorative items including Belleek and Lenox. There is also a Burrowes cedar chest, just added.

The first-floor kitchen is full of useful and attractive items that have already been lovingly sorted and displayed by the family. These include a set of Revereware copper-bottomed pans, a water distilling machine, a Keurig coffee maker, an unusual variety of kitchen machines, and many ceramic pieces.

A bedroom features a computer desk, a large futon with a modern oak frame that makes it stand up as a respectable piece of furniture, and several smaller pieces. Also in this room is a large Sony television, surround sound system, and DVD player.

The first floor apartment has become the home of many small decorative and useful items, vintage electronics, an aquarium, and a wide variety of exercise equipment, as well as books, records and DVDs.The basement features lots of hand and power tools including a variety of vintage electronics equipment you can't get anymore on the primary market -- when was the last time you saw a vacuum tube voltmeter? There is a 1950s Coldspot refrigerator, which has been tested and is in cold running order. Perfect for the vintage appliance collector!

The garage includes two metal ladders, a Kenmore gas grill, several five-gallon metal gas cans, a large metal birdbath with fountain, a Toro blower, another Shop-Vac, and -- well, you'll just have to see what else.
