Listing Information

UPDATE: The lady of the house has kindly arranged for free parking in the church lot next door.

This is a two-family house that has been occupied entirely by one family for over 40 years. The lady of the house is still living on the first floor and deciding what to take and what to keep, but she definitely has two china cabinets, a dining room table and chairs, two sideboards, some sterling silver, a set of Grace china in white with silver trim, and another unmarked set with a pretty rose on it. Some cool vintage glasses with Greek history theme in gold foil. The lady is a caterer, and she is selling off lots of high-end kitchen equipment, pots and pans, kitchen machines like a Cuisinart bread maker, Emeril Lagasse deep fryer, Butterball turkey fryer and more, as well as a number of specialty baking items. More to come as she makes decisions.

The second floor is all up for grabs. Everything in the living room is for sale: sofa, coffee table, end tables, armchairs, a stone-topped sofa table with gilded legs, an unusual pressure-mounted lamp with three fixtures, an unusual stone-topped occasional table that actually rotates so you can get at the little cubbies underneath, and a little painted cabinet that needs a new key. The style is mid-century modern mixed with reproductions of 18th century European styles.

The dining room features a large china cabinet chock full of several different sets of china and glassware, a dining table and chairs, and an unusual sideboard, low and ornate and stone-topped, as well as a vintage coffee urn and bar mixer. This second floor includes many small decorative items including crystal, and a lot of artwork. The lady was fond of floral still lifes against dark backgrounds.

The bedroom features a full-sized bed with wrap-around headboard and ornate footboard, dresser, highboy whose bottom drawer is actually a miniature cedar chest with a lid, and an armoire with a hidden lower compartment. Two attractively cut ladies' coats with fur collars and cuffs, and a couple of fancy hats. The lady of the house says there will be more clothing.

A second bedroom features a dresser with mirror, and the dresser has cabinet doors that open onto hidden drawers. A pair of nightstands, a TV, and a pair of 1950s Continental Arte flamenco dancer lamps.
