Doors open at 8 am sharp (CENTRAL TIME ZONE!!). ABSOLUTELY NO EARLY SALES! Sales tax will be charged on all items purchased unless you provide us with a copy of your CURRENT resale tax exemption number (NO EXCEPTIONS!!). Not responsible for accidents. All children MUST be supervised at all times or you will be asked to leave the sale. You are responsible for packing and loading of the items that you purchase. We have a limited quantity of boxes/paper, so bring your own supplies if you have them. |

a True PICKERS SALE! one day only, Friday Dec. 11th from 8 until 4 Wiregrass Estate Sales is honored to have been chosen to liquidate the estate of Jake and Edith Benton of Opp.
The Bentons lived in this large home since building it in 1948. There is also a barn outside with tons of stuff in it, including lots of firefighting items. Mr. Benton was Fire Chief in Opp for many years, in addition to owning a firefighter supply business. Mrs Benton worked in the Opp school system, and was a truant officer. She was also very active in her church, First Baptist of Opp.
This is an unusual sale for us, as we are NOT going to clean/stage/setup/tag the home and contents, due to the time frame! We are going to open the doors and let you DIG, DIG, DIG! And Plunder! There are lots of boxes full of stuff, plus every cabinet, closet and drawer are packed as well. The barn is amazing! Full of firefighting stuff and tools, plus I saw old bottles, furniture, etc. I am posting a few generic pictures today, and will try to post more the week before the sale! Since I do not have time to price the items in the estate, just make a big ol' pile and I will make you a great price!
