Pick-up Instructions When the auction ends, winners will receive an invoice from Caring Transitions providing an exact address. It is your responsibility to pick up your winning lot(s) during our pick-up day(s). There will be at least a $20 fee to schedule another pick-up day, and you must contact us before the auction ends. We are not responsible for loading your vehicle. You must provide adequate help yourself. Bring tools, other people, and the right sized vehicle to help you carry items. Requirements for Payment Communicate with us. Please read all of the following:

Please WAIT until you receive your invoice via email before paying! We will send out invoices within minutes of the end of the entire auction. 15% Buyer's Premium will be added to the winning bid amount. You must pay for auctioned property before Pick-Up (PayPal or credit/debit card). Exceptions to this rule will be made under the following conditions: 1) if you have a consistent history of buying and paying at pick-up and we agree to that again; or, 2) if you have contacted us via telephone 248.836.8244, or via email tondusky@caringtransitions.net before pick-up to inform us that you intend to pay at pick-up, and we agree that you may do so pay at pick-up. If you are a new buyer and intend to pay at pick-up, you must contact us before the end of the sale for approval! At our absolute discretion, we reserve the right to award the items to another lower bidder willing to pay by credit card or Pay Pal. If you have not made payment prior to the final day of Pick-Up, and you fail to show for the scheduled pick up time without previous notice by phone, you forfeit any claim to the property. Forfeited property may be sold to another buyer. Exceptions to this rule will be made under the following conditions: if the customer has contacted us via telephone (not email) before Pick-Up to inform us that the Customer is not able to come for scheduled Pick-Up, and if the Customer makes arrangements for payment that are approved by us. Property that has been paid for, but has not been Picked-Up by the end of the final Pick-Up day (without previous notice of a problem) may in our discretion be considered abandoned, subject to no refund and resold during pick-up or within the near future. Exceptions to this rule will be made under the following conditions: if the Customer has contacted us via telephone, NOT merely email, before the end of Pick-Up day to inform us that the Customer cannot come for scheduled Pick-Up, or if the Customer has an acceptable and on-going relationship and agreement with us to pick-up their items alternatively or at a later time.

SHIPPING CONSIDERATIONS: Local Pickup ONLY on HEAVY, LARGE or BREAKABLE lots. Exception to local pick-up rule at our discretion depends first upon whether the buyer contacts us at tondusky@caringtransitions.net PRIOR to placing a bid to arrange & agree to additional packing & shipping charges. Minimum handling fee of $10 for single lot, and possibly more if you require shipping on multiple Lots (or difficult to ship lot). After we deliver your item(s) to the shipper the shipper will contact you to pay the actual shipping cost via credit card. We reserve the right to refuse shipping lots we deem too fragile to ship, so please inquire about shipping before you bid.

NOTE: We use UPS, which chooses the most reasonable cost for shipment of your items.

Payment must clear PayPal before pick-up, so please process payment as soon as you receive your invoice. A 15% buyer’s premium will be added to each purchase.
