Full payment on auction day. Watercraft pick-up and removal by the winning bidder, after full payment, is on Auction Day and through Tuesday, May 17, 2016 CST. All watercraft buyers must carefully, properly and completely remove watercraft off of the East Chicago Marina premises within the specified time deadline. Certain watercraft listed above will be sold at Public Auction in conformity with the provisions of I.C. 26-1-7-210 and I.C. 26-1-2-328 by the East Chicago Port Authority (Indiana) on Sat., May 14, 2016, 10 A.M., CST on-site at East Chicago, Indiana Marina, 3301 Aldis Ave. East Chicago, IN 46312. Public inspection and viewing is 9 am to 3 pm CST for 5 (Five) weekdays prior to Auction, there's More than 30 (Thirty) Open hours to view, Monday, May 9, 2016 through Friday, May 13, 2016, plus additional time starting 9 a.m. CST on Saturday, May 14, 2016 Auction Day. All watercraft must be removed by Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 5 P.M. CST, by the winning bidder, Or seasonal leasing arrangements paid for in full with the East Chicago Port Authority. There is absolutely NO working on, cleaning or stripping down the watercraft while it is located on the East Chicago Marina premises. There's NO garbage facilities available on-site at the East Chicago Marina. Most of these boats & watercraft don't have trailers. Winning bidder/buyer must make your own trailer arrangements for watercraft removal. The Marina has various flyers posted of companies that do watercraft pick-up and transport services. Watercraft NOT removed by May 17, 2016, 5 pm CST, will be considered abandoned and may be repossessed by the East Chicago (IN) Port Authority and costs may be incurred to the winning bidder. The Marina on the shore of Lake Michigan, is sandwiched in the middle, between East Chicago's Ameristar Casino & Inland Steel/Arcelor Mittal plant. Go north on Cline Ave., take exit #5C, a green sign reads Ameristar/Jerose Park & Marina, follow the signs for Marina, go to stop light (which is in front of the casino), make a hard left (west), go .2/10ths mile to Stop Sign, turn right (north) & loop around right in the Marina area & park in lot by South Shore Club Bar & Grill which is on the south side of the Marina area. IF exiting off of I-90 Toll Road, the East Chicago Marina is 1.8 mi. north of this Cline Ave. exit until you reach Exit #5C, then follow directions noted above.
