An Arlington home with plenty of curb appeal, but it’s not what will have the ladies standing in line at daybreak.  Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors purses are one of the draws along with a rack of St. John knits, a Burberry All-Weather Coat, and several Bifano furs!  The homeowner was originally from Russia and by the looks of her home traveled extensively in Europe during her lifetime.  My personal favorites included a pair of shoes by Valentino with fur poueffs ... the Escada jacket with fur trimmed collar ... and the fur vest by Birger Christensen (purveyor to kings and queens of Denmark, Sweden, and Greece).  By now this sale probably has you hooked the way it has me.  So let’s hit the jewelry ... 2 ladies’ Cartier watches ... 14k gold and diamond jewelry ... a Hermes Bracelet ... porcelain boxes (including ones by Tiffany and Villeroy & Boch) ... and a pearl set by Majorica – necklace, bracelet, and earrings.  While you wait to browse the jewelry, take note of the display cases filled with Daum figures, a Faberge Egg (with box), Lladro, a sterling silver dog, an Erté figure, a Louis Vuitton attache case, Russian lacquer boxes, and more.  On top of one of the cases you’ll find several designer perfumes.  Also in the living area ... original Russian art work.  Head to the bedrooms to find a host of Erté prints.  Now to the master bedroom where you’ll find designer shoes, clothing and more furs.  On the clothing side you’ll find Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana, those St. John knits, Escada, and Armani ... cashmere sweaters from Neiman Marcus ... shoes, boots, and sandals by Valentino, Manolo Blahnik, Stuart Weitzman, and Louis Vuitton ... and a vanity covered in hair accessories.  

Now that we’ve hit the highlights of this fabulous sale, we can tell you to expect to find the usual furniture ... dining room set (including a mid-century china cabinet filled with glass, crystal, and a porcelain coffee set) ... and living room with sofa, display cases, and an etagere.  The homeowner’s “TV Room” has leather seating, several loaded bookcases with a variety of books (from Agatha Chistie mysteries to investing).  You’ll find 2 king bedroom sets, lots of easy chairs, a full kitchen, and patio furniture in the garage. I did take special care to look over the Johnson Brothers china and the Andrea “Exotic Birds” plates.
