Estate of Doris Bigby: The Bigby family was military and while they were stationed for several years in England, they collected furniture, clocks, porcelains, lamps, glassware and other miscellaneous collectibles.  We will sell the contents of the family home in Bartow at absolute auction.  A partial listing of the contents include:

Large selection of ornately carved English furniture: desks, hall tree, tables, chairs, hall seats, 2 American oak S-curve rolltop desks, Victorian marble top wash stand & dresser, oak chairs (sets), antique brass bed, curio cabinet, chests, etagere, 10' oak bench, large 4-door oak wardrobe, davenport desk, linen press.

Also included are the following:

18 Clocks--2 grandfathers, mantel, shelf & carriage clocks; 20 pocket watches--2 gold, 10 key wind, 8 stem wind; 10 antique quilts; 4 inkwells; 6 biscuit jars; several lap desks; tea caddy; stained glass; mirrors; 3 oil lamps with art glass shades (not electrified);

Gorham sterling flatware, 79 pieces Strasbourg; plus other misc. English silver pieces.

RARE Fitzroy barometer, 19th century; plus 19th century mercury stick barometer.

Art Work including a Walter Goodall, Richard Peter Richards, Richard Comber; small works on porcelain & ivory; many nicely framed prints; selection of brass rubbings.
