Let me start by telling  you my story . My name is Larry Hamblin  and for over 50 years I been in the auction buisness. I came from a small town in Tennessee  where family and a hand shake mattered.  I came from a mother who was a school teacher, a father who coal mined and drove bus to make sure his family of 10 was fed. In a big family we never felt like we did without and they gave us more love then anyone could ever ask for. We were blessed. I moved to Michigan  when I was 18 yr old and started working  at CSX and then took Mr Clarence  Burkett as a mentor  learned the auction  buisness.  I worked with some of the best auctioneers ,made lots of friends  and memories.  I ran Ida Auction  House my whole life and loved my customers and consigners alike. It was sold in the spring of 2024 ,and now I'm  starting  a new journey with the auction  buisness. Appraisals,  Tag Sales, and Live Auctions  on site and Ida Fireman's  Park. We have helped with charity auctions, and 4 H small animal  auctions, we enjoy helping out our community  as a family.
