Cartwright Estate Liquidations, Inc. has conducted hundreds of estate and downsizing sales in the Jackson, Mississippi area since 1993. Sales have also been conducted in other areas of the state including Natchez, Port Gibson, Liberty, Indianola, Yazoo City, Brandon, Forest, Meridian as well as Louisiana and Arkansas. We will travel to do a sale if it is Large enough.. It is best to call an estate company after the family has decided what they want to keep..We have Many satisfied Clients Large and small for whom we carefully handled their loved ones estate.
Many sales are conducted for persons moving to retirement homes or downsizing or after a parents death. Most are entire household sales which include a wide variety of items -- Antique to Modern, ordinary to elaborate. Something for everyone. Call us for a free consultation 662-571-2922. Detailed appraisal estimates may require a fee for mileage outside 100 mile radius of Jackson.
A packet of information is sent to prospective clients including an information letter (how sales are set up and conducted), contracts and a list of references. CEL acts an an agent representing the client, not the customer. Items are priced at current fair market values. Free verbal estimates of sale net proceeds are available. Our company works on a commission basis with no upfront fees to the seller. Items are sold on-site.
We adhere to strictly advertised hours of operation. No one buys early. No one on our staff buys anything from the sale until it opens. We Do sometimes allow phone buyers to call after a sale opens perhaps after 11 am and buy via phone using a credit card...
We have a loyal following of customers. They go where ever we go. For each sale we e-mail flyers to over 650 customers and "snail-mail" over 100. We maintain customer mailing lists for various parts of the State.
Settlement is sent to the seller 14 days after the sale including a detailed listing of items sold.
When the sale is completed arrangements may be made with other entities to dispose of furniture and/or collectibles or CEL may offer to buy out remains. Usable non-collectible items are donated to a local church or charity and a tax receipt obtained for the seller. We cannot promise we can get every clients leftovers to charity.
