We were faced with the difficult task of liquidating and cleaning out the rented condo of a dear friend who passed away unexpectedly. It was made much more difficult since we live 1700 miles away. April Gallagher's professionalism associated with holding an estate sale, presenting the items for sale, and selling as much as possible really helped us avoid numerous, expensive trips to handle this ourselves. She also went above and beyond when she offered to help locate someone who could remove the items that didn't sell, as well as sweep out the condo before returning it to the landlord. I have just returned from picking up the cash proceeds of a 2 day estate sale conducted by April and her hard working staff. First, I must say that I am amazed at how lucrative the sale was despite taking place on the heels of a horrible snow storm that stopped New Jersey in its tracks. In fact, I had suggested to April that maybe we should postpone the sale, but she was confident that we would get a good turnout. Her experience paid off -- she knows her estate sale afficionados and knows that they follow her sales in particular. So, a little inclement weather won't keep them away from an estate sale that she is conducting. This is where her experience and reputation pays off -- she has attracted a reliable following of professionals like herself who get the job done, no matter what the weather! My situation is that I am the Executor for the estate of a widow who lived to be in her 90's (as did her husband who predeceased her by a number of years). So they had accumulated two long lifetimes' of furnishings and collectibles from their travels. In short, I was dreading getting rid of all the stuff since I have a full-time job and no time to devote to organizing or supervising an estate sale. No worries! April scheduled one day to come in with her experienced crew of hard workers to organize items for the sale. Then, her Trojan workhorse, Dave Butterfield, came an extra day by himself to haul items from the cottage on the property to the screened-in porch so that people would not have to trek through the snow to the cottage which had more collectibles, furniture and furnishings to sell. Dave just kept going back and forth between the house and the cottage even though it was snowing and managed to move the bulk of the cottage contents into the main house so I didn't have to worry about missing out on customers who would not venture out to the cottage through the snow. Having top-flight dedicated personnel is what sets April's Estate and Tag Sales apart. On the days of the sale, her staff was out spreading salt on the walkway to ensure the safety of potential customers. So, in summary, the 2 day sale went off without a hitch, drawing eager purchasers both days. I highly recommend Aprils' Estate and Tag Sales without reservation and award them 5 stars out of 5 possible.

Just wanted to add my name to the list of happy customers who used April's Estate Sales to liquidate a family member's belongings. When my cousin died last June, I was both sad and overwhelmed, as her death was unexpected and I suddenly found myself in charge of an estate, with very little time to spare within my own busy life, not to mention that I live several states away! April and her staff made this sad and difficult situation much easier to deal with and I am grateful for both her expertise and efficient manner in which she tagged, organized and sold a household of things including a car! Honestly, I don't know what I would have done without her help. The day of the sale was snowy and icy and April not only had the deck and driveway area cleared, she also bought and installed a new battery when the car in the garage refused to start.
