We've done Estate/Moving Sales for 25 plus years..

Years ago we had spaces at Carriage Antiques/55th Place/Hanna/Antique Row (Woodlawn).  Owned Kountry Keepsakes in Huffman in the 80's. Opened Collage Consinment in Mountain Brook.. which was sold to it's current owner.  Owned and sold The Bargain Barn/Heart of Clay.   I have a data base of over 2000 people and everyone of them like stuff.   The worst thing in the world is to have someone conduct your estate sale and at the end of the sale... STILL HAVE MOST OF IT LEFT~~~~   I see this happen all the time.. People that handle sales.. Intentionally price it to high.. when the sale is over... you want it gone and they'll make a rediculous offer to get it out of your way...    

Birmingham can be a hard market for high end items..  I work with several auction houses out of state to get more $$$.  

March 2012 I had been posting some items I had for sale on a friends facebook group page.. It was over loaded with clothes/baby items etc...  So one day I started a group.. BIRMINGHAM PICKERS..     A few months later my husband said I needed to open a store (I was meeting too many people and when they'd come to my house they seem to not want to leave.. lol    

July 2012 Birmingham Pickers opened.   Mount Olive Alabama..  

Since we've opened we've met some of the most awesome people.  The store is located off I65 and when people travel say to the beach.. they stop back in on the way home..
