"I need more than 5 stars to rate Chris & Amy at Sage Patina! When my husband and I suddenly decided to get out of the craziness of the big city life, the home we fell in love with meant downsizing significantly. Husband was completely fine with selling everything and walking away. I on the other hand, went into complete panic mode. Wasn't sure where to even begin. I'm a researcher though and looked at lots of reviews and websites. I found Sage Patina. Loved their website, their glowing reviews, the social campaigns, plus the fact that they had experience with sports memorabilia. We had lots! I called and spoke to Amy and discussed the process and all the details. I knew this is who I wanted to hire. We made tentative plans to meet as soon as I had hard dates. Well, as luck would have it in the craziness of the housing market, we had an unexpected long 3 month delay. When I was able to reach back out, they were booked for the next couple of months. Completely understandable. I told Amy I'd reach back out if we decided to wait until they were available. In the meantime, I decided to reach out to one of the other estate planners. Great reviews, no direct website though. I also didn't see any social. I met with him at our house. We went through everything and he told me his process and his upfront fee. My husband walked out at that point. The planner told me i might not even make enough from the sale to cover his fee!! Are you kidding me?!?!?! Sorry, but NOPE!! Everything about that planner tells me they take advantage of seniors or people that are selling the estate of a loved one. Of course after that interaction we decided we'd wait for Chris & Amy if we had to. I reached back out. Amy was great!! The perfect professional with so much enthusiasm!! We met, we both thought it would be a good fit, we set a date. The communication through every step up the way was top notch. Always quick to answer any of my questions. Always making sure I knew what they were doing. When I went by the house the day before the sale, I was amazed!! I had left all the stuff for the sale crammed in boxes and closets. But it was now perfection. They're artists! They transformed it into a beautiful boutique store. And we had some different, unique items. You can tell how much they enjoy doing what they do. We ended up getting more than the other planner said we would and more than I was expecting. I couldn’t be happier with how it all went. I’d choose Sage Patina if I was you."

"Wow!!! Amy and Chris are angels, and that’s an understatement! My husband and I planned a major overseas move to travel the world and had to sell most everything in our house. It was the one huge detail of this move giving me so much anxiety. I knew I couldn’t do it on my own, or handle it emotionally, for that matter. I found them on google after interviewing 3 other companies and not getting good feedback anywhere else. They came over, we spoke awhile and I knew they were the team I needed! They were so genuine, kind and thoughtful. I’ve always had a sharp intuition about people and I was definitely right on these two! They communicated beautifully through the whole process, set up my home like a gorgeous boutique for a couple of weeks, and all I had to do was pack my bags, walk away and let them do their job!! We came back to the house a day after the sale ended to a much higher than expected check and a beautifully clean, empty home ready to close to our buyers. They even sent a keepsake video of our home all set up for the sale and a video of the house cleaned out. They really went above and beyond all expectations. As I sit now on a train down to Sicily (so many thanks to Chris and Amy), I am astonished and amazed by their work, their precious attitude, their kindness and encouragement to make this huge move! We can not thank them or recommend them enough. If you need an estate sale team, these are your folks. No question. Amy and Chris, we adore you guys, thanks for all you do for so many families. "After my mother's death, we had to clear out her home in order to sell it. Although my brothers and I took as many memories as possible out of the house, there was still a lot left (65 years worth!). In searching for an estate sale company, we wanted someone who would provide a personal touch and handle our mother's and father's possessions with care. We found Sage Patina Estate Sales. "I recommend "Sage Patina Estate Sales" to anyone who is in need of true friends during what has to be one of the hardest jobs given to a person, disposing of a lifetime of family memories. I, too, interviewed many other Estate Sale companies. What I found interesting was the different and sometimes convoluted manner of service, pricing and payment schemes. When I talked to Amy and Chris at Sage Patina, their business model was understandable, upfront and honest. No maybes, no ifs, and no "depends on " statements, just straight forward easy to understand and honest terms and conditions. They really did treat me as family, the good kind! They lived up to their contract and accommodated the special circumstances I had due to Trust dictates. They saw me through the baseball size hail storm that struck in the middle of their staging process. They gave good advice on what would or more importantly what probably would not sell. Their input turned out to be right on the money. Speaking of which, they priced items very well and generated big crowds of customers each day. Yes, we did turn a good profit. The next steps after the sale were equally appreciated and a big part of why I picked their firm. Their partnership charity took all the non-sold items to a worthy cause and I received a 501c donation form. So much better than letting a waste disposal firm carry the unsold items to the dump or having to contend with those items myself. It made me feel that my family passed along worthy items to benefit those who are in need. Sage Patina then made sure the house and outbuildings were clean and empty. The payment from Sage Patina was made per the contract and included an itemized listing of what sold by category. This was important to me as I was holding the sale on behalf of a Trust and needed the documentation, as well as, the excellent photos, they provided. I must say, Sage Patina covered all my needs and did it in a warm, friendly and very professional manner. Hire them!"

Our sale had to be canceled and our house had to be vacated and cleaned out due to it selling. So blessed to have found Sage Patina!! After living in her home for over 30 years, my mom decided it was time to downsize. We spent several months going through all of her belongings, boxing up what she wanted to take. Our plan was to have a garage sale, but when we saw how much stuff was left and the amount of work it would take we felt overwhelmed and decided it was best to leave it to the professionals. We interviewed a couple of companies, but knew during our first meeting that we were a good fit. We followed their instructions & then let them do the work. They cleaned, grouped the voluminous sale items, & staged the rooms. The estate sale went very well, funds were provided asap, the remaining items were donated and her house was left cleaned. Not having to mess with the hauling away the remaining contents was amazing, and freed up our time to finalize listing the property with a realtor. Selling a home you have lived in for so long can be an emotional one, but working with Amy & Chris made the process much easier! Thank you Amy & Chris for all of your hard work making my mom’s estate sale a great success!!!

"I live over an hour away from my mother's house and I'm extremely busy with work. I needed an Estate Sale Company to help me take care of everything that was left in her house. The house was in the process of being sold. After spending a lot of time doing research for a Professional Estate Sale Company in the DFW area, I chose Sage Patina. I found a website that privided very valuable information on choosing the right company to work with. This site offered insite into the necessary questions to ask and the propper expectations that should come with a great Professional Estate Sale Company. I was new to all of this. My wife and I shopped at many Estate Sales but never had to use one for ourselves. Sage Patina's website had all the right answers to all my questions right on their home page. That in itself was amazing! Their site was easy to navigate with plenty of information and photos. Plenty of references were provided as well. I made the phone call to Amy who's a ball of positive energy and extremely pleasent to speak with. She makes you feel comfortable right away. I had made some calls to other Estate Sale Companies as well to get a feel for how they worked. The other companies made me feel as if I were in the waiting room at a Doctor's office... (NEXT!) Amy scheduled an appointment to meet with me at my mother's house were the Estate Sale was to take place. I met with Amy and her husband Chris a few days later. They were both very charming, very knowlegeable. They were enjoyable to speak with. They provided me with all the details of the process and answered all my questions. They walked with me through the house to get an idea of what all is there for sale. After this meeting, I had no problem deciding I wanted them to do the Estate Sale. And wow I'm glad I did. Amy stayed in contact with me every step of the way. She set everything up, staged everything for the sale, and sent me photos of everything she did. She sent me detailed info of daily sales each of the 3 days she was there. I was extremely happy with the total sales each day. I realize this is a business and they're there to make a profit for her and the client but she is genuinely concerned about her client's welfare. She's honest. She works hard for her client, and keeps you in the loop through the entire process. That's rare these days. After the sale is over, she has a group come in and clean up. She sent photos of that as well. The house looked amazing! Since the house is in the process of being sold, this step really helps! I never once had to worry how things were being done. She had my complete trust! I'm in an industry where I have to hire subcontractors so I don't take this lightly. Sage Patina took a tremendous load off my plate and did so without any stress what so ever. Everything was done professionally. This company is incredible in my book. Even my Real Estate Agent wanted her information because he was so impressed as well. DO NOT hesitate to contact Sage Patina if you need someone to handle your Estate Sale. I am extremely satsified and recommend them highly. You will not be disappointed!!"

"Sage Patina was the 6th Estate Sale Company that I interviewed. I interviewed a total of 7 companies because you are literally turning over the keys to your family’s house to a stranger, so I wanted to be sure and find a company I could trust. I also checked all their references, which were exceptional, so I knew Sage Patina was the right company. When I first met Amy, she was so kind and caring! Chris & Amy work very well together as a husband & wife team and they really care about you and your family’s possessions. They will work extremely hard for you. They get more done in one day, than most people could get done in 2 weeks!! The first day, they sorted and organized my parents’ house, it was the cleanest I had seen it in years! I could not believe the transformation. Then they work on staging, when Amy says PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING, she means it and she knows her stuff!! "Sage Patina Estate Sales is run by Amy & Chris. I never meet them before. They were recommended to me by a friend. After I sold my house and moved to an apartment, there was lots of furniture, china, glassware and other household items we accumulated when we were stationed overseas with the Government for a long time. I didn’t know how to get rid of them and had no knowledge of how an Estate Sale works. I signed a contract with Amy & Chris and turned over all the items I wanted to get rid of to them. They sorted the items, priced them, sold them in three days, cleaned the house, and gave me my check from the sale and that was it. I didn’t even move a finger. They took care of everything. "First off I interviewed 4 well qualified groups to handle my estate sale. Chris and Amy were eager and excited about helping me with my sale. Much more than the other 3 well qualified companies. Their excitement was the difference in what was a very hard decision.
Amy and Chris were amazing. I gave them a house FULL of stuff which was unoccupied for about 7 years. They cleaned, staged, cataloged and priced everything in 9 days. The house looked amazing!
On the sale day I stopped by just to check things out. They had over 40 cars outside my house at 10:10. The sale started at 10! So their marketing efforts were a success in my opinion. The house was filled like “ants at a picnic”!
What I really appreciated the most was a full report at the end of each sale day. They emailed me an itemized list of what sold and the days net sales. It was over the top! Such organization!
One of my interview questions I’d ask, “roughly what might I see for gross sales from this sale”? I got answers from $3000-$20,000... of all the estimates I received, Amy and Chris were the most accurate. And honestly that’s not the reason I hired them as they weren’t the highest... but I believe they were the BEST!
I absolutely would hire them again NO QUESTIONS!"

"We recently had an estate sale of items of some of my mother's items. I looked into several companies to conduct the sale, and chose Sage Patina. Amy's explanation of what would happen and when was re-assuring to me. One of the other companies seemed to want to rush through everything with only one day of preparation. Amy and Chris went through the house and organized everything into boutique style displays. Everything looked GREAT! They found items I had forgotten about or didn't know about. When something came into question, one of them would always contact me for clarification (did I want to keep an item or put it up for sale). All of the preparation for the sale occurred while I was in the hospital, so I couldn't oversee it. But I didn't need to worry. They stayed in touch and conducted an awesome sale. I would highly recommend their service! Job well done and two of the nicest people I've met."

"I had no idea what to expect with an estate sale. Our family was moving to a new home and left about 80% of our home furniture, décor, kids items, etc. behind for the estate sale. Chris and Amy were great with communicating all the steps of the process keeping us well informed all the way. Amy's ability to merchandise your items for sale is an incredible skill. It was hard resisting to take back some items I chose to leave behind. They are very thorough, professional and price your items so strategically that by the third day of the sale almost everything has sold! They operate with such integrity and ethical behavior - they found items we'd thought we'd lost over the years like a class ring, small electronics and personal items.
They would often check with us on items to be sure that we wanted them sold as opposed to assuming. I would trust Amy and Chris with any business transaction. They came freely in and out of our home while we were still living in it and once we'd moved - they had a key and would always tell us when they were on their way or leaving for a bite to eat - even when we weren't there! A wonderful experience!!! I’ve never been to an estate sale or had one before. So I was pretty clueless and skeptical of the process going in. That was until I spoke with Amy. I did a lot of research and spoke to about 20 companies. She was actually the second one I spoke to and I knew from that very first conversation that Sage Patina was the company I was going to hire. She was very caring to my personal circumstances going on and was not pushy in any way. She worked with my uncertainty of when the sale needed to take place and carefully guided me through the process. She and Chris kept me informed of every time they were arriving to sort and stage my items, they kept a personal stack of items as they sorted that they thought I would want or may have overlooked and even rounded up loose change and gave it to me. They are very honest and heart felt people!!! If they said they were going to do something or be somewhere they did it. I never worried about them keeping to their schedule or word. They were very organized and detailed in everything they did. They always had a smile on their face and were happy and excited to be doing what they were doing. They love their career path and it radiates from their faces. Due to the research they do on items for pricing and the staging expertise they possess, almost everything sold! I was amazed! They represented my home and my items with the most upright respect. They went above and beyond in everything they did. I really enjoyed their company and personal conversation. Simply put, they are wonderful people both on a personal level as well as a professional level. One thing that attracted me to their company was that they charged one flat percentage. There wasn’t any minimums that had to be sold or any hidden or added fees. When the sale was over, they wiped my counters down and swept the floors. My house was empty and looked great! If I had to do it all over again, I would 100% hire an estate sale company and not attempt to do it myself and I would 100% hire Chris and Amy with Sage Patina all over again! Thank you for all you did! You were both amazing and a blessing to my family!!!

Absolutely the greatest experience ever! I wasn't sure how to move or downsize. A friend recommended an estate sale. The greatest move ever! Amy & Chris took care of everything. I literally took what I wanted and left the rest! I made a killing! I got paid! Instead of paying for a moving company & packing all my belongings, paying for storage that would have been in the double digits I walked away from everything. Amy & Chris turned it into a fortune! My house looked like a mini Hobby Lobby / Academy, my friends called me bragging about Sage Patina and how well they were treated, what great buys were there and how quick they were in and out.
