Commonwealth Antiques & Appraisals, Inc. conducts appraisals, estate sales and has a shop. The shop, located next to the Post Office in Wicomico Church on Route 200 between Burgess and Kilmarnock, hosts an eclectic array of English and American period antiques. Currently we have a wonderful Federal sofa, a Scottish tall case clock, American engravings, English Staffordshire and Orientalia - lamps, art and furniture. Great finds for the serious collector or casual shopper alike! Our two-story shop is housed in a Victorian house c. 1890 and displays tall chests, Victorian bedroom suites, slant-front desks, and sterling silver. Oriental rugs, books and art are available on the second floor. Our hours are irregular, so check out our website to see if we're having an estate sale, or call for an appointment. We open the shop for folks often!
