We are Ken France and Suzette Mack, owners of Caring Transitions in the Heartland. We reside in Shawnee, Kansas and serve the following counties: Western Wyandotte, Leavenworth (Leavenworth and Lansing), Douglass (Lawrence) and Shawnee (Topeka).

Over the years, we have personally experienced and seen many friends struggle with life’s most stressful and overwhelming times, such as a life changing illness, the death of a loved one, the changing needs of an aging parent, or a divorce. This compelled us to start Caring Transitions, a business dedicated to helping seniors and their families cope with moving, downsizing and estate liquidation. We are not just “another estate sale company”…we provide the total solution for housing transition needs, and we provide our services with compassion. We will never see your treasured items that are filled with memories, as trash to discard…our name “Caring Transitions” means our team is dedicated, compassionate, and caring throughout the entire process.  

Ken’s background in the Air Force, United States Postal Service, and APWU (Postal Union), combined with Suzette’s background as an occupational therapist, church administrator/communicator, and artist assures that we are committed, hard-working, honest, dedicated, creative and solution-oriented, able to manage a variety of projects. We have special training as Certified Relocation Transitions Specialists (CRTS), and work as your onsite advocate, keeping your family’s best interest at heart. Our focus is to minimize your emotional and physical stress, work with compassion and integrity, and maximize your returns while helping you through a difficult time in your family’s life.
