Wade’s Auction and Appraisal Service, LLC located at 2330 Blue Horizon Drive, Morgantown, WV  26501, was established in 1995.  Thomas A. Wade is our lead Auctioneer and Appraiser, and he is devoted to customer service. He is licensed to sell personal property and real estate in West Virginia and in Pennsylvania. He is a long standing member of the National Auctioneers Association and the West Virginia Auctioneer’s Association. Tom placed in the top 3 for many years in the West Virginia Auctioneer contest.  In 2005 he won the Grand Champion Auctioneer Contest, as the best bid caller in the state of West Virginia.  He is a 1996 graduate of Fairmont State College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a 1995 graduate of the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering.  Thomas holds a designation of a certified General Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA).  He attended the Alderfer School of Appraisals in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. He also holds the designation of (CES) certified Estate Specialist, from the National Auctioneers Association.  Wade’s Auction Service, LLC also employees Christine Wade and Thomas C. Wade as licensed Auctioneers.  Wade’s Auction has been a widely respected leader in the auction industry since 1995, and has built a reputation for ethically and creatively helping people navigate the maze of personal property and real estate property in transition. Our auction company combines the skill of experts on antiques, fine art and collectibles with over 21 years of experience in promoting our auctions and our client’s merchandise. We not only know the marketplace and the current value of the items we sell, we know how to reach buyers to create awareness and, ultimately, successful sales.  Our Auction service is committed to serving our customers in every way possible. We provide professional service by taking all the responsibilities from the seller. We pack items to be sold, transport each item to the selling site if applicable, log every item by description and list the amount each item brings at auction. Not only do we sell personal property, but we also sell real estate, liquidate entire estates, partial estates, vehicles, mobile homes, equipment, guns, tools, business liquidations and farm auctions.  Wade’s is also a licensed Federal Firearms agent licensed in the state of West Virginia; we are able to sell firearms to potential clients in or out of state, and handguns as well.  We comply with all federal firearm rules and regulations.  Shipping is available to all out of state buyers with additional fees for the process.  We do a NICS check via a laptop and within moments results of a federal background check are received.
