Bentley & Associates, LLC is a Southwest Regional Auction Firm, which specializes in Auction Marketing Services and Investment Recovery. C. L. Bentley in Amarillo, Texas established Bentley Auction Service in 1979. We are a family owned and operated business. Bentley’s has offices in Amarillo, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico. We currently conduct and have auctions in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Alabama and Arizona.
We have conducted more than 3,500 auctions in the past 30 years and have generated over $ 60,000,000 for our clients. Bentley’s has the expertise and the experience to create unique marketing solutions for all types of auctions.
We specialize in converting capital assets to cash through auctions while relieving our clients the bothersome details of selling. Since no two situations are alike, a customized marketing strategy is planned for each auction.

Bentley’s received their first Department of Energy contract with Mason & Hanger, Silas Mason, Inc., (Pantex Plant) in 1987. In October 1989, Bentley’s expanded their operations into New Mexico with the award of the Department of Energy’s Sandia National Laboratory plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Based upon our success with these first auctions, we convinced Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory to put their surplus out for bid for auction services, upon which we won the contract. Then in June 1997 Bentley’s opened our third location in Huntsville, Alabama after being award the NASA – Marshall Space Flight Center Contract.
Bentley’s currently has an impressive list of contracts with Department of Energy, Fortune 500 corporations, public entities, and private individuals. Bentley’s has provided these clients with “Turn-key auction marketing services” with single source of responsibility for investment recovery and marketing services.
Our services include but are not limited to consultation, appraisals, auction planning and consulting, auction advertising and promoting, transportation and packing services, accounting, computerization of auctions, and auctioneering.
