I am humbled and honored to be bringing this sale to the Barrington community.   Platinum is liquidating the contents of a most incredible Barrington woman,   Ms. Lorraine Pahlke,  Owner of Barrington Transportation.  She will be missed by all who had the great pleasure of knowing her, including me. Barrington Transportation Co has been serving customers from Barrington, IL and surrounding areas since 1948. Lorraine and her husband started this business in 1948,  that's almost 70 years of service! The transportation company is up and running under the supervision of her son Robert and daughter Sara.  Along with many Grandchildren who are there daily to escort the children off to school and back always following a safe course.

Barrington Transportation Co was founded by Alfred Pahlke shortly after World War II.  

 

Well, well , we started this fantastic Barrington sale today. What fun items we are discovering.

A few items that will be at the sale...

Ethan Allen bedroom suite, Dining table and chairs, twin and double beds, MCM Dressers, lingerie chest, Beer Signage, Mirrors,  Framed Artwork, Vintage this and that, Fun and funky, kitschy items, Holiday decor, Clothing galore, purses, hankies and gloves, shoes, coats, and scarves. Knick Knacks, clocks, music, lp's, 45's, 8 tracks, turntable, vintage electronics, kitchen table with 4 chairs on casters, kitchen table with 4 wood chairs, sewing notions, linens, towels, sheets, chenille bedspreads, blankets, handmade quilts, quilt rack, recliners, lamps, side and coffee tables, kitchen wares, glass wares, buses lots of buses, from cookie jars to Christmas ornaments, and brooches,  COSTUME JEWELRY!
