Blackwell Auctions of Clearwater, Florida, is pleased to offer some outstanding estate items in its November 12 auction, including paintings by listed artists, historic furniture, fine jewelry, antique Asian art, including jade and other carved items, several old firearms and edged weapons, U.S. silver and gold coins, and Oriental rugs. - Art by Mark Dixon Dodd, Joseph Raumann, Bill Ray, Antonio Devity, Salvador Dali and others. - A crotch mahogany secretary desk owned and used by Millard Fillmore. An 18th century tavern table. A Mission oak writing desk with inkwell drawer. - Sterling silver items by Tiffany & Co., John R. Wendt, Gorham, Stieff, and others, as well as an Imperial Russian enameled sterling silver spoon. - Outstanding Chinese items, including large carved malachite immortal statue, several antique carved jade and ivory items, a fabulous cloisonne box, and a pair of carved dragon plaques that once decorated a Chinese junk. - Several 19th century firearms, including four early top break Smith & Wesson pistols, a Springfield Trapdoor .45-70, a .71 cal Potsdam musket, and other early percussion rifles. This auction also features several WWI and WWII edged weapons, helmets and other militaria. - Numerous pieces of fine diamond and gold jewelry. - Fine porcelain items, including Lladro figurines and a dated 1897 Meissen Emperor Wilhelm charger.
