This is a very different sale for us to host. Mentioning that the homeowner was an avid shopper would be a vast understatement. Kathy shopped whenever she was able and filled her home, garage and sheds with duplicates of anything you can imagine and then some.

She mentioned that the reason for this was because she could not find the items she had and when you see the mountains of treasures to sift through; you will understand how something could be hidden away in this commotion for years.

For you crafty types; Kathy has at least one of each craft goodie and most likely 3 or 4 of them. She loved Christmas and holiday items and has buckets, boxes and stacks of everything you can ask for. Art supplies, paper goods, fabric, music, movies, and books. She has hundreds if not more brand new gift items just waiting for you to take them home. We have only one day to empty this place so please try to stop by early so you can get first choice of what we will offer.

Giving us a hand by bringing along your own shopper box (in this sale it would be a huge help) and would be appreciated by all. If you have any extras you don’t need (the short liquor store type of box with low sides) by all means bring them along.

We are happy to help Kathy get along with her plans of moving into an independent living location where she has far less to care for and can find the things she knows she has more readily.

We will be posting photos Tuesday evening so be sure to check back then to see what sort of girth we are talking about here. By then we should have much of it out and ready to be photographed and posted.

We want to thank all of you who came by our wonderful Winter’s sale this past weekend and helped us empty that home, garage and yard entirely. What a great couple of days that turned out to be and the weather was definitely on our side.

Next week we will invite you to a one-day sale on Tuesday from 9am-6pm in Woodland for a family relocating to the east coast
as the man of the home passed away.

On Thursday we return to the Rosemont area to empty a hoarder’s home of everything from mountains of electronics, thousands of CDs and DVDs to books, toys, trinkets, tools, collectibles, antiques, garden items and so much more. You can barely turn around in that house and it will be a real challenge to get it in order.

That Thursday sale may well run on Saturday as well due to the magnitude.
