DIRECTIONS FROM CHARLESTON, WV

There are several non-toll routes, but the easiest is from the I-77/I-64 Turnpike. Take EXIT 48 for Rt. 19/N. Beckley & Summersville. (the exit BEFORE Tamarack)

  • Exit 48 for Rt. 19 & go straight (no  more tolls)
  • Stay on Rt. 19 & Straight for 3 miles (pass Route 16 and Maple Fork Rd)
  • Follow large signs for Mt. Hope - It is in a steep dip in the road
  • Turn Left to small leader road for Mt. Hope
  • TURN RIGHT onto Stadium Terrace (rt. 27) toward Mt. Hope (Georgia Pacific mill will be visible)
  • Continue on Stadium Terrace for 8/10 mile (pass the historic Municipal Stadium & colorful apartments above)
  • Turn LEFT onto Main Street (Route 211) - Fire Department is visible
  • Travel 1/2 block & park.  House is between Mt. Hope Presby & Baptist Churches

PARKING:  
Please park on Post Office Side of Street.  Additional parking is available on opposite side of street at the public and church parking lots.
