Hi Everyone!  Ole Susannah's is having an Estate this week!  

Welcome to one of the prettiest, most serene places you'll ever visit.  This Estate/Moving Sale belongs to Dr. Jim Geisler, who just retired after practicing medicine for sixty-one years.  That's right, 61 years!  He was affiliated with The Pathology Associates of Monroe.  He and his wife, Judy, (who's so pretty she makes me wan to pull her hair out!), now spend their time enjoying life between their two homes in Bossier City and Union Parish.  In Union Parish, they've created their own Utopia on 300 acres with a 30 acre lake.

I happen to be the lucky realtor who has this "gem" of a house listed for sale.  Every window on the back side of this two story home is facing the Bayou.  Located on over 3 acres with a very long, tree-lined driveway, this house is perfectly nestled on the bank of the Bayou with plenty of room for crawfish boils, fishing, swimming, gardening, and more.  This lovely home was built by Herbert Finks and was one of the first (if not the first) houses built on Finks Hideaway Road.  He chose the name of Finks Hideaway because of the seclusion and privacy that this area offered so many years ago when he built this impressive home.  Dr. Geisler bought this home over 40 years ago and says he has enjoyed every minute of his ownership.  He would still be living there, but wants he and Judy to travel while he's still "young" and in good health.
