A Patriot with A Servant’s Heart
Our upcoming Estate Sale will be June 24-June 25. We must begin with how privileged we are to know the history of this man. He proudly served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War as Senior Protestant Chaplain and assigned to a C5B heavy transport airlift wing carrying men and supplies to the Desert Storm area.
After serving 28 years in the Air Force, he spent his whole life as a servant to others. He was a volunteer Chaplain for the Police Dept., Fire Dept and EMS. He was a CPR First Responder Instructor for the Fire Dept and also a Senior Red Cross Instructor for over 30 years, both in the Military and out.
He went to New York after 911 and worked with Red Cross as well as New Orleans with Katrina victims. He worked very closely with the people of Jarrell during the tragedy of the devastating tornado. He was honored as Florence’s Citizen of the Year and was a true outdoorsman. He was a selfless man and even now donates the proceeds of his estate to local churches and charities.
