On with the biggest and most beautiful sales of the week/month/year and possibly even decade.Welcome to Napa Valley. We have been contracted by the family who owns the famous bed and breakfast “Ink Inn” that has been standing in this valley for over 120 years.
From the dozen or so bedrooms and baths, to the full basement and pool room, kitchen, parlor and even the large barn outback of the property, this place is nothing if not authentic to period. We are so happy to be able to spend the week down there getting ready for you to come join us and shop from the offerings. They have sold the place to another family who wants to make it a ’boutique’ hotel….which although seems to be all the rage…will not be utilizing any of the Victorian furniture, artwork, bedding, rugs, mirrors, tapestries, decorator pieces or anything else that has been stuck down in this basement for eons.
We have been asked to empty the home completely so that is exactly what we plan to do. Thursday will be open from 9am-6pm, Friday from 9am-6pm and Saturday all will be half price from 9am-4pm with free items going at 4pm on Saturday.
Thanks to all who joined us in emptying the homes this past week and especially all who came down to Elk Grove to wade through the mountains of items for sale in that situation. We are happy to give the home back empty so that the family is able to hand it over to the tenants.
